*the reason I had a hard time accepting help from others when my husband had emergency surgery

The next time someone gives you a compliment or wants to say something amazing about you and TO you, receive it.   

Take it all in. 

Don't downplay it, minimize it, or deflect it any way. 

Just take it in for YOU, and for the gift you will give that person when you truly RECEIVE it all.
